Let the Haydn String Quartet provide a stylish and elegant accompaniment to your wedding, corporate event or special occasion! Whether it be a cocktail party, a book or project launch, a birthday party.....we will add the perfect finishing touch. Exquisite classical or lively light music to create the ambience you require. The Haydn Strings are one of Wellington's most experienced chamber music ensembles. We're professional musicians, active in Wellington's musical life. We play for Orchestra Wellington (formerly the Vector Wellington Orchestra), as well as other orchestras and musical groups. Over the years the quartet has played for state occasions at Parliament, exhibition openings, hotel and embassy functions, weddings and funerals, as well as cocktail parties for companies such as Ernst and Young, Audi, and AMP. We provide the versatility of quartet, trio and duo options. While the string quartet arrangement of two violins, viola and cello is the most complete ensemble, trio (two violins and cello) or duo (violin and cello) combinations also work well.
